Studio Sloane is led by founder and Design Director Kari Carter, who sets the creative vision for the studio, bringing extensive experience, instinct and a highly considered approach to every interior.

Driven by a passion for storytelling, the team believes the most compelling interiors balance form and function while creating an emotional connection with the people who experience them. Architecture, materiality, colour and craftsmanship are thoughtfully layered to create distinctive, timeless spaces that respond individually to their setting, purpose and users.

The studio works collaboratively with clients, consultants, artisans, manufacturers and suppliers throughout the design process, combining creative ambition with rigorous attention to detail to deliver exceptional interiors from concept through to completion.

As a multidisciplinary team with over 20 years of industry experience, Studio Sloane draws upon extensive knowledge gained through the design and delivery of hospitality, residential and workplace projects, from complex refurbishments to major ground-up developments. The team’s collective experience spans projects from 50,000 to 690,000 sq ft and developments with a Gross Development Value of up to £200 million.

Strong client relationships, project leadership and close coordination with the wider consultant and delivery teams are fundamental to the studio’s approach, ensuring the creative vision is maintained while responding to commercial, operational and technical requirements.

The team’s experience includes projects for leading hospitality brands, developers and global organisations including Hyatt Regency — shortlisted for Best Hotel at the 2022 FX Awards — Hyatt House, The Landing Hotel, W Hotels by Marriott, Riverstone, Berkeley Homes, Hewlett Packard, Sky and Booking.com
