For hotel guests, the estate offers 108 rooms and suites, three restaurants, a gym and the extensive Eynsham Baths — a 3,000m² Roman-inspired spa featuring a vast tepidarium bathing hall, five pools, ten treatment rooms, a lounge and an open-air hideaway and bar, complete with a secluded pool and waterfall.
Members have the additional benefit of the on-site clubhouse, with a salon, shared workspace and children’s club. Popular with a creative and entrepreneurial crowd, Estelle takes a refreshingly relaxed approach to the traditional country club, combining personalised service and discretion with an unstuffy, sociable atmosphere.
The interiors were brought to life by Roman and Williams, Olivia Westrom and AIME Creative Studios, alongside Artistic Director Eiesha Bharti Pasricha. Guestrooms range from opulent suites to bohemian-inspired woodland cottages, layered with reupholstered vintage furniture, 20th-century pieces and warm, atmospheric lighting.
Within the main house, ornate ceilings and grand windows provide the backdrop to richly layered interiors of patterned rugs, antiques and decorative detailing. Outside, the Riviera-inspired South Terrace opens onto far-reaching views, with social spaces flowing down towards a 25-metre pool, loungers and bar.
The restaurants include the lively Brasserie, the Billiards Room serving traditional Chinese cuisine, and the Glasshouse.
The Billiards Room pairs a menu of traditional Chinese dishes with limed plaster walls, serpent-shaped velvet banquettes in rich malachite green and sculptural Murano glass chandeliers.
The Glasshouse, the hotel’s greenhouse restaurant, sits within a beautiful walled garden. The interiors are calm and relaxed, with burnt-orange velvet banquettes, oversized cushions finished with petrol-blue fringing and an abundance of large-scale planting. A family-friendly atmosphere is complemented by a relaxed, sharing-style menu.
The Brasserie serves an all-day seasonal menu within an interior that retains elements of the building’s original timber panelling, complemented by carefully curated timber and stone furniture. Hand-painted motifs decorate the walls, while a rich, gloss pine-green ceiling and softly glowing glass pendants bring warmth and character to the space.
