Artesian is a multi-award-winning cocktail bar, named after the original 360-foot-deep well beneath the hotel. Located on the ground floor of the opulent 5-star Langham Hotel, its eclectic concept draws inspiration from Victorian cabinets of curiosities, revealing unexpected textures, details and references throughout.

The whimsical interior is drenched in rich shades of purple, from aged leather seating and decorative tabletop prints to bold patterned rugs and curated floral arrangements. This expressive palette sits against a traditional Victorian backdrop of grand bay windows, intricate cornicing and jewel-like, silver-leaf mirrored wall panelling.

An earthy, Oriental-inspired timber pagoda frames the back bar, creating a dramatic focal point for the display of spirits and liqueurs. The front bar combines subtly purple-veined marble with brass stud detailing and an abstract butterfly-print panel.

Oversized lamps, including sculptural bronzed horse-head bases, frame the seating areas, while extravagant, lantern-like handcrafted chandeliers in antique gold fill the ceiling, creating a warm, atmospheric transition from day to night.
